Spawning conditions are very few, and it is spawned in underground, above-the-ground areas of specific chunks, within Minecraft world or in a few chosen biomes like swamp biomes (it is spawned on the surface only when the light level is below 7 and moonlight on that particular night is more than 0) and mangrove swamp biomes but only in the nighttime. With that, you have a slime farm! Clicking on a chunk on the map once will mark it as a slime chunk (green color), twice a slime-free chunk (light red).
