Daniels Area: Once the site of a milltown called Daniels, the Daniels Dam here backs up the Patapsco River providing smooth water for canoeing and kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Check out this historic and scenic trek thats short and sweet, but perhaps a bit unnerving for those who are afraid of heights. The trail section from the Patterson Viaduct footbridge off of Ilchester Road to the Buzzards Rock trail connection will remain open, as will theSwinging Bridge (although it won't offer access to the Grist Mill Trail). Right off the Cascade Falls Trail you can also cross Landing Road and hit the Rockburn Trails.
Proceed on the park entrance road to the contact station.

Although I did not go past the end of the trail, I was told there is a visitor's center not far past the end, where you can get refreshments.

Other highlights off the tail are a swinging bridge at Orange Grove and the remains of the Bloede's Dam (scheduled for demolition in late 2016) which was the world's first submerged electrical generating plant contained inside a dam.
