They include so much in the package, like the cake, a room for the couple at the awesome Fox Hollow Inn next door, and a ton of food for the cocktail hour and the dinner.
Reviews 7. The Somerley has a private entrance and private bathrooms so we felt like the only ones there! Not too happy with that. I just felt my wedding day was a little disorganized. The hotel being next door was ideal, and its all the same ownership, so they transport everything from one place to the next and you don't have to worry about anything (but they name their own prices, so the rooms in slower months are a lot cheaper than the busy/summer months, so it can run a bit pricey) All in all, a fine part of my big day, thanks again to everyone at the Fox Hollow! Both of them provided us with whatever we needed in a instant. I can not say enough great things about Fox Hollow they are amazing. Off of the main room are two patios and a lounge area. As the week of Hurricane Sandy progressed, people began calling us that they could not make it due to the weather (flights cancelled, homes flooded, hotels out of power, etc.) They treat you like family and make there mission to make it the best night of your lives and I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that they succeeded! ating. She was friendly and sweet and was always there with a drink. They were a pleasure to work with from sales to catering!
The Somerley. Im so happy that I am a Fox Hollow bride! From what we heard about the food, our guests enjoyed it and there were no major issues we knew about. It's bright. the bar was great and the bartender even stayed longer to keep us going all night !!! The venue is only 30 miles from Manhattan. Hi ladies!
Horrible service and nothing special room wise. I could not have planned this wedding without their help. I am trying to figure out how many people to invite, and I know they say the room holds 216, but I'm nervous. You never really know until it's your wedding day how things will all work out but they went above and beyond for our wedding. I had many phone calls with Mike, as well as emails, mini breakdowns, etc. The food was amazing and everyone couldnt stop talking about how gorgeous the room was! We would highly recommend the Fox Hollow as well as Josh and Noelia. When we finally did speak to her she said to expect an email by a certain date detailing what else we needed to do. Woodbury, NY.
